Virtual classroom: Troubleshooting and FAQ

Linc web application offers a virtual classroom to teach online sessions. Below you can find the supported browsers and how to solve the most common problems.


Supported browsers with virtual classroom

Windows and macOS

* Screen sharing feature in Safari is available starting with version 13 or later.

Mobile devices

The screen sharing feature is not available in mobile browsers.

I can't see/hear the other participants

Try each of the following steps:

  • Verify that you have a good internet connection.
  • Refresh the virtual classroom page.
  • Verify that other participants do not have the camera or microphone muted.
  • Check that your browser is up to date.
  • Use a different browser to join the virtual classroom.

Others can't see/hear me

Try each of the following steps:

  • Verify that you have a good internet connection.
  • Refresh the virtual classroom page.
  • Verify that you do not have your camera or microphone muted.
  • Check that you do not have the camera or microphone permissions blocked in your browser or system.
  • Check that your camera and microphone are working properly.
  • Check that your browser is up to date.
  • Use a different browser to join the virtual classroom.
  • Disable any firewall or antivirus on your computer that may be restricting access to your camera or microphone.
  • Restart your computer and try again.

Troubleshooting issues with your camera/audio

Test your camera and microphone to make sure it's working properly

You can use our online tool to check if your computer microphone and camera are working properly before joining the virtual classroom.

Steps to follow:

  1. Enter the following website: https://app.chime.aws/check
  2. Click on "Check my device" to start the diagnostic test.
  3. Follow the steps provided during the diagnostic process.

Once the diagnostic test is completed, you will be provided with the results showing you any issues found and how to solve them.
