Student notifications
Newsletter
You will receive a single monthly email with new Linc features and updates.
Session status update
You will receive email notifications when your sessions change status.
Different cases:
- Tutors confirm, cancel or reject your tutoring requests.
- Tutors start any of your upcoming group sessions.
- Tutors send you the start request for any of your upcoming 1-on-1 sessions.
Completed session summary
Get an email summary of each of your completed sessions.
Upcoming session reminders
You will receive reminders via email when the start of your upcoming sessions approaches. The frequency of these reminders can vary.

New session requests
You will receive email notifications when you receive new tutoring requests from students.
Canceled sessions
You will receive email notifications when any of your pending or upcoming sessions are canceled by students.
Additionally, you will receive email notifications in the following cases:
- Students reject your session start request for 1-on-1 sessions.
- Any of your tutoring requests get automatically canceled by not providing a prompt response.
- Any of your upcoming sessions get automatically canceled for not starting them in time.

Get an email summary of each of your completed sessions.
Upcoming session reminders
You will receive reminders via email when the start of your upcoming sessions approaches. The frequency of these reminders can vary.
Additionally, you will receive email notifications in the following cases:
- You have not started an upcoming session on the established start date and time.t
- When you have not ended your ongoing sessions once it exceeds its established duration.
Language for notification emails
Email notifications are available in Spanish and English.
The email notifications language is based on the language that you have set in the Linc web application. You can change it at any time by going to the top bar by clicking on the desired language. The language will be reflected automatically in the next notification you receive.
Avoid email notifications going to spam
How to avoid it
Notification emails may arrive in your junk mail (spam). Mail applications have automatic filters to detect spam, however, they can sometimes make mistakes.
Follow the next tips to prevent this from happening:
- Add the email address (noreply@linc.io) to your contact list.
- Add the email address (noreply@linc.io) to your safe senders list.
- Mark received emails coming from Linc as "not spam" or "as desired".
